I was born and raised in Ethiopia and am currently a senior at Georgia State University, pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems with a concentration in Application Development and Data Analytics. My passion lies at the intersection of technology, creativity, and problem-solving, where I strive to craft meaningful, user-centered solutions that connect and inspire people while simplifying their everyday lives.

Growing up in a family that ran an electronics business, I was exposed to the entrepreneurial mindset from an early age. At just 17, I launched my first venture, designing and selling silk pillowcases. These experiences sparked my passion for blending creativity, business, and technology to build innovative products with real-world impact.

In college, I developed a deep interest in product management and design, gravitating toward product creation and development. Beyond my coursework, I took the initiative to expand my knowledge by enrolling in online courses focused on user-centered design and product management methodologies. Through these experiences, I gained valuable skills in analyzing user feedback, refining product roadmaps, and crafting intuitive solutions that address real user needs.

My journey into product design began while volunteering, where I created engaging flyers and videos to promote events. This sparked my curiosity for impactful design, leading me to explore tools like Canva and eventually transition to Figma. With Figma, I began prototyping interactive, professional designs and turning app ideas into functional and thoughtfully crafted user experiences. Completing Google’s UX Design course on Coursera further deepened my understanding of design principles and empowered me to bring ideas to life with a focus on usability and innovation.

Outside of school and work, I am deeply inspired by creativity. Photography and storytelling have always been my passions, helping me see design through a unique and artistic lens. I also enjoy exploring new cultures and cuisines, and when I need a moment of relaxation, I turn to my favorite comfort show, Friends, for laughs and inspiration.

As an aspiring product manager and designer, I am driven by the opportunity to create impactful, user-centered products that merge technology and creativity. By taking initiative, seeking mentorship, and learning from diverse teams, I’ve grown immensely in my journey. My mission?
